Construction and marine qualities

The polyester shell and the GRP deck - Fiberglass sign a proven construction, easy to maintain and durable. With 11.40 m in length, 3.70 m in width and a draft contained 1.45 m, the Sun Odyssey 37 combines stability under sails and easy access to shallow anchorages. Its movement of 6,100 kg ensures a nice hold at sea. The sail plan includes mainsail, genoa and spinnaker, with boom equipped with Lazy Jacks and Lazy Bag for a simplified maneuver with a reduced crew. Mainsail rail and carriage, halyards and winch crank complete the fittings.

Motorization and life on board

The 30hp 3GM30F diesel, 3-cylinder seawater cooling, shaft line transmission, totals 2,544 hours. At 6 cruising knots for about 2 l/h, with 150 liters of diesel, the engine range is comfortable. The 300 liters of fresh water, hot water (engine and 220 V), the refrigerator, the freezer, the 2-burner ENO oven and the convertible square make the stay on board pleasant over time. The teak cockpit, table, cushions, bimini and downhill hood, deck shower, ladder and bathing platform complete a deck for the cruise.
