description
Transworld 41 - A great travel sailboat cut for the high seas
Signed Transworld Yacht, this 1979 41-foot belongs to this generation of offshore cruise ships designed to swallow the miles safe. Twelve meters fifty of polyester hull, sixteen tons of movement, an arrangement of two cabins: everything here breathes the travel boat, thought of to live on board for a long time and far. A used unit displayed at €59,000 including tax.
Construction and holding at sea
Polyester shell and GRP deck - Fiberglass, with deck and teak cockpit redone in 2005. With 12.50 m in length, 3.63 m in width and 1.80 m in draft only for 16 tons, the Transworld 41 combines a reassuring heavy displacement in the formed breeze and a moderate draft which opens many anchorages. The rigging is served by a slatted mainsail with Lazy Jacks and Lazy Bag, a 2017 Genoese, a drop-out, a back-strap, a GV carriage, a toe-out and a spinnaker.
Motorization and autonomy
The 50 hp, four-cylinder, seawater-cooled Perkins 4108 totals 3,965 hours on a Stern transmission. At 6 cruising knots for about 2 l/h, and with 350 liters of diesel like 350 liters of fresh water, the autonomy is up to the program. Inside, 6 beds divided into 2 cabins, 8 people admitted on board, 220 V hot water and engine, hob, oven, electric refrigerator and Bluetooth radio.

An opportunity to seize
Electronics widely renewed between 2017 and 2024, recent solar energy, teak deck redone: this Transworld 41 is a real travel boat ready to go back to sea. A visit is necessary to measure its potential.
