NautiTech 40 - The great travel catamaran, ready to cast off the moorings

Released from the Nautitech shipyards in 2008, this 12-meter catamaran embodies the balance sought by long-term crews: generous volumes, healthy marine behavior and an unusual capacity for autonomy in this format. Four cabins, eight beds, a clear and marine life platform: the NautiTech 40 is aimed at both the family and the couple in preparation for a Grand Cruise. Price: €169,000 including tax.

Construction and marine qualities

Polyester shell and GRP deck - Fiberglass for a proven structure and controlled maintenance. With 11.98 m in length, 6.70 m in width and only 1.20 m in draft, the boat combines platform stability and access to shallow anchorages. A displacement of 7,400 kg and a dormant rigging redone in 2016, with FACNOR reel of the same year, complete a coherent and recent set on sensitive points. The wardrobe – 2016 slatted mainsail and genoa, Gennaker with UV band taken over in 2023 – was renewed in the same spirit.

Motorization and autonomy

Two 30 hp Volvo D1-30, three cylinders with seawater cooling, provide a cruising speed of 7 knots for a consumption of 4 l/h, with a peak of 11 knots. The counters display 3,950 and 3,870 hours respectively. The range is a real asset: 270 liters of fuel, 900 liters of water and a desalinator of 60 l/h in 12V totaling 519 hours, supported by 650 W of solar panels, a Victron 1000 W converter and an Air Tronic heating to navigate out of season.
